Things to do in Jefferson texas? Anyone know?

I hear Jefferson Texas has a beautiful historic section and antique shops. Anyone know the highlights of this town? I searched a few sites but they never really pinpointed activities—Ecpecially for this weekend.

Any knowledge would help…
Thanks!
